The following information was supplied by the Braintree Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Three men from Rhode Island were arrested by Braintree police earlier this week after they were seen allegedly "dumping" merchandise from stores at the South Shore Plaza into their vehicle.

Derrick Crim, 19, of Warwick, RI, Mario Antelo, 21, and Juan Carlos Turbidez, 22, both of Providence, RI were all charged with three counts of receiving stolen property over $250 and five counts of receiving stolen property under $250, Deputy Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement.

They were arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 9 after loss prevention spotted them bringing merchandise out to a car and then returning to the plaza. When they went back inside, they allegedly used duct tape-lined bags to steal at Pacific Sun Wear, Jenkins said.
