Quincy Ave Fire Scorches Boat and Shed

Braintree firefighters extinguished the fire by 1 p.m. and Quincy Avenue re-opened to two lanes of traffic in each direction.

A fire that began just before noon at 149 Quincy Ave. destroyed a shed unattached to the home and burned a boat.

Braintree firefighters sounded two alarms and had the blaze out shortly after their arrival. More details when available.
