Police Respond to More Vehicle Breaks, Domestic Dispute, Make an Arrest for OUI

The following are excerpts from the Braintree police log. An arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, July 18 

At 9 a.m., police responded to a B&E into a vehicle on Cochato Road 

Saturday, July 19 

  • At 1:35 a.m., police reported suspicious activity on Hollis Ave.
  • At 1:46 a.m., a disturbance was reported at St. Claire Street 
  • At 3:45 a.m., a call of suspicious activity came in, West Street. Craig J. Shadduck, 22, 30 Hollingsworth Ave., Braintree, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a MV, marked lanes violation, OUI (liquor) 
  • At 3:16 p.m., police responded to vandalism, West Street 
  • At 4:38 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute, Hancock Street
Sunday, July 20 

  • At 7:10 a.m., police pick up hypodermic needle at Summer Street 
  • At 1:47 p.m., police responded to suspicious activity, South Shore Plaza. Marvin Butch Cooper, 62, Dunlap Street, Dorchester, was arrested on larceny over $250, possession of Class A substance - subsequent offense 
  • At 3:51 p.m., police respond to shoplifting, South Shore Plaza 
  • At 4:27 p.m., police répond to report of B&E vehicle, Parkside Circle
