Police Log: Braintree Man Charged With Assault on Child

Sunday, May 18 

  • At 1:37 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on Mount Vernon Ave. 
  • At 4:59 p.m., shoplifting was reported at North Shore Plaza 
  • At 7:45 p.m., police responded to a report of identity theft, Washington Street 
  • At 9:51 p.m., police responded to a disturbance. Christine Marie Fabiano, 44, Apt. 102, Matthew Court, Braintree, was arrested on a warrant from Weymouth 
  • At 11:07 p.m., Reginald Locks, 31, 35 Queen Anne's Court, Weymouth, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of MV, equipment violation
  • At 6:32 p.m., police responded to an attempted B&E at Matthew Circle 
  • At 8:54 p.m., police responded to a larceny at South Shore Plaza 
  • At 10:34 p.m., police responded to a robbery at 23 McCusker Drive 
Monday, May 19 

  • At 8:49 a.m., police responded to a larceny call on Prescott Lane 
  • At 1:13 p.m., police responded to shoplifting at South Shore Plaza 
  • At 3:11 p.m., police pulled a driver over for MV violations, which resulted in an arrest of David J. Kennedy, 35, 46 Winter St., Quincy, who was charged with possession of a Class C substance, and driving with a suspended license 
  • At 4:25 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting call, 350 Grossman Dr. 
  • At 5:21 p.m., vandalism was reported, Ellsworth Street 

Tuesday, May 20 

  • At 8:07 p.m., a missing person report was filed, Union Street 
  • At 11:03 a.m., police responded to a larceny of an MV at Fairview Ave. 
  • At 11:14 a.m., police responded to a hit and run, Granite Street 
  • At 4:03 p.m., police responded to a call about an assault. John McNeil, 50, 247 Grove St., Braintree, was arrested and charged with A&B on a child with injury, A&B with dangerous weapon
