Police Charge Teen With Carrying Knife on School Grounds in Braintree

Teen charged with carrying knife on school grounds
Tissa Hernandez, 18, of 170 Howard Ave., Dorchester, was arraigned in Quincy District Court on a charge of carrying a weapon on school grounds and was released on personal recognizance. The case was continued to Dec. 27.
The charge stems from a Dec. 6, 2011 incident in Braintree after a school housemaster found a black North Face jacket with a knife with a 2-inch folding blade inside. Police said Hernandez allegedly came back for the jacket and admitted the knife belonged to her.

Hull man charged with larceny under $250
Leanne M. Olson, 46, of 28 Q St., Hull, was arraigned on a charge of larceny under $250 and was released on personal recognizance. The case was continued to Dec. 11. The charges stem from a Dec. 12, 2011 incident in Braintree at 10:30 a.m. when police responded to a report of possible items stolen from Work-N-Gear.
