Police: Arrests for A&B With Dangerous Weapon, Drugs

The following are excerpts from the Braintree police log. An arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, July 10 

  • At 7:43 a.m., police responded to an accident on Washington Street
  • At 9:32 a.m., vandalism was reported, 12 Skyline Drive 
  • At 10 a.m., police responded to larceny on Grove Street 
  • At 10:19 a.m., police responded to a report of threats at McCusker Drive 
  • At 11:33 a.m., police responded to a report of trespassing, East Boscobel St. 
  • At 1:55 p.m. police responded to a report of a B&E to a vehicle on Edgehill Road 
  • At 3:44 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity at 200 Granite St. Alexander Leonard Fainer, 35, 15 Glenrose Ave., Braintree, was arrested and charged with A&B with a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest, marked lanes violation, breakdown lane violation, failure to stop for police, possession of class B substance. Alexsy Rentas, 34, 11 Olcott St., Watertown, was arrested and charged with conspiracy, possession of a class B with intent to distribute 
  • At 6:21 p.m., police responded to a report of larceny, 300 Grove St. 
  • At 9:28 p.m., police responded to a drug law violation
