Pair of Young Braintree Men Arrested for Malicious Destruction of Property in Stoughton

The alleged incident took place the early morning hours of July 1 and resulted in the arrest of two Braintree men.

Two Braintree men were arrested early Sunday morning in Stoughton, both charged with "malicious destruction of property" on Hunt Dr., according to the  Facebook page.

The police log states a caller reported a rock being thrown through the front window of a 45 Hunt Dr. home at 3:25 a.m. on July 1. Hunt Dr. is located off Plain St.

Officers responded to the scene to find "significant landscape damage to the Hunt Dr. neighborhood."

Officer Joseph Zbinski located two males in the area, and after a K-9 track and the collection of additional evidence, determined they were the two responsible parties, according to the department's Facebook page.

As a result, Shawn Gabriel, 20, of Braintree, and Adam Richards, 19, also of Braintree, were both arrested and charged with malicious destruction of property (over $250), breaking and entering, and conspiracy.
