A 21-year-old Pittsburgh man faces OUI and operating to endanger charges after driving through a red light at Five Corners Tuesday morning and crashing into a bus.
Neither the cited driver, Bryan B. Persinger, nor a 60-year-old Dorchester man driving the bus were injured in the crash, Braintree Police Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement.
"Investigating officers made observations of Persinger that suggested that he was impaired and requested that he perform several sobriety tests," Jenkins said. "At the conclusion of the tests, Persinger was placed under arrest and transported to the police station."
Persinger recorded a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit and was additionally charge with failure to stop for a red light.
