Braintree man gets pretrial probation on weapon assault charge

Ronald H. Laplume, 50, of 18 Edgemont Road, Braintree, was given pretrial probation in Quincy District Court until Aug. 13, 2013 on a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon. The charge stemmed from a May 7 incident in Braintree after police were dispatched to Laplume's home address in response to a report of a possible domestic incident.

Assault, intimidation charges dismissed

Donna McLeod, 51, of 39 Chickadee Lane, Braintree, had charges of assault and battery on a disabled person age 60 or older with injury and intimidating a witness dismissed in Quincy District Court. The charges stemmed from a Oct. 22, 2011 incident in Braintree after police were dispatched to McLeod's home address for a report of a possible domestic incident in progress.
