Warrant for 3-Time Shoplifter, Woman Charged With Fleeing Accident

Boston man faces third shoplifting offense

Fred G. Johnson, 52, of 42 Lyons St., Boston, failed to appear in Quincy District Court for arraignment on a charge of third-offense shoplifting by concealing merchandise. The court issued a default warrant seeking Johnson's arrest.

The charge stems from an Oct. 18, 2011 incident in Braintree at 6:25 p.m. when police were dispatched to Kmart, 350 Grossman Drive, in response to a report of a shoplifter. Police said Johnson is accused of concealing $90 worth of Country Living sheets using a book bag and then leaving the store after passing all points of sale.

Connecticut woman charged with leaving accident scene

Kristina Jacobson, 48, of 35 Rustic Acres, Wolcott, Conn., was arraigned in Quincy District Court on charges of leaving the scene of a property damage accident, unlicensed driving, and a state highway signal/sign/markings violation. The case was continued to Oct. 29.

The charges stem from a Oct. 28, 2011 incident in Braintree at 6:30 p.m. when police were dispatched to Route 93 near Exit 7 in response to a report of a two-car accident involving a vehicle that fled the scene.
