Court dismisses assault with dangerous weapon charge
Alexander A. Zakarian, 22, of 500 Union St., Braintree, had charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and threatening to commit a crime dismissed in Quincy District Court. The charges stemmed from a April 16 incident in Braintree after police responded to a report of a possible domestic disturbance.

Kevin M. Andrade, 26, of 138 Federal St., Apt. 2, Weymouth, had charges of operating under the influence of alcohol and failure to stop/yield continued to Jan. 22 for a jury trial in Quincy District Court.
The charges stem from a incident in Braintree at 1:05 a.m. when police allegedly saw a gray SUV fail to stop at a red light at the intersection of Quincy Avenue and Hayward Street. Police stopped the vehicle, administered field sobriety tests, and arrested Andrade on suspicion of driving alcohol-impaired. Further details were unavailable.
