New Bedford man skips arraignment
Victor M. Santos, 36, of 10 Collins St., Apt. 1, New Bedford, failed to appear at his arraignment in Quincy District Court on a charge of driving without a license or after license suspension. A judge issued a warrant to have Santos arrested on the defeault.
The charge stems from a Nov. 7, 2011 incident on Route 93 in Braintree when police noticed a black Honda Passport traveling over the posted 55 mph speed limit and stopped the vehicle.

Court continues case of alleged illicit nude photographer
Michael J. Quirke, 49, of 29 Franklin St., Braintree, had charges of photographing an unsuspecting nude person continued without a finding of guilty in Quincy District Court until Sept. 16, 2014. The charge stems from a Aug. 12, 2011 incident in Weymouth. The court had all materials related to the case impounded and further details were unavailable to the public.

Public exposure case in hands of jury
Thomas B. O'Connor, 40, of 48 Columbus Ave., Braintree, had a charge of open and gross lewdness continued to Dec. 4 for a jury trial in Quincy District Court. The charge stems from a Nov. 5, 2011 incident in Braintree. O'Connor is accused of dropping his pants and exposing his genitals to a woman three times and that O'Connor refused to leave the premises. The woman then sent a text message to her son calling for help and that a struggle ensued between the men when he arrived, according to police.
Taunton man a no-show at arraignment on drunk, drugged driving charges
Joshua S. Peters, 31, of 25 Whittington St., Taunton failed to appear in Quincy District Court for an arraignment on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol, operating under the influence of drugs, reckless driving, a marked lanes violation, and traveling the wrong way on a state highway. A judge issued a warrant to have Peters arrested on the default.
The charges stem from a Nov. 3, 2011 incident in Braintree at 9:30 p.m. when state police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident in the Route 93 northbound lane. Police located the vehicle down an embankment among trees and the operator passed out inside. Police later questioned Peters, who allegedly told police he had consumed "three nips and two rum cokes" and had "just shot heroin." Peters was taken to Milton Hospital, according to police.
