OUI case to go to jury in November

Herbert R. Wilkinson, 23, of 121 Trefton Drive, Braintree, had a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol continued to Nov. 20 for a jury trial in Quincy District Court. The charge stems from a June 11, 2011 incident in Braintree on Vinedale Road where police stopped a vehicle and detected a strong odor of alcohol inside. Wilkinson allegedly refused to be administered field sobriety tests and police arrested him on suspicion of being alcohol impaired.

Mikia Lee, 20, of 20 West Tremlett, Apt. 3, Boston, had charges of malicious destruction of property over $250, disorderly conduct, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon dismissed in Quincy District Court. The charges stem from a Oct. 21, 2010 incident at 7:52 p.m. in Braintree outside Victoria's Secret at the South Shore Plaza. Police were called to respond to a report of a fight between several females. 

Assault and battery case continued without finding 

Herbert R. Wilkinson, 23, of 121 Trefton Drive, Braintree, had a charge of assault and battery continued without a finding of guilty in Quincy District Court to Aug. 6, 2013. A judge issued Wilkinson supervised probation, complete anger management, and stay away from the alleged victim.

The charge stems from a June 11, 2011 incident in Braintree at 6:45 p.m. when police responded to a report of an assault at Smith Beach and Edgehill Road. The victim stated he was walking along Edgehill Road when a man in a blue Volkswagon Jetta began yelling obscenities at the victim. Both men exchanged words, and the suspect allegedly began punching the victim in the face multiple times, according to the police incident report. 

Braintree man charged with larceny over $250

Anthony Malacaria, 25, of 22 Commercial St., Braintree was arraigned in Quincy District Court on a charge of larceny over $250. The case was continued to Oct. 17 for a pretrial hearing. The charge stems from a July 7, 2011 incident in Quincy where police responded to a report of larceny of computer equipment and software.
