No Injuries in Fire Outside Braintree Childcare Facility

A van caught fire Wednesday morning outside a childcare facility on Granite Street in Braintree, causing no injuries but resulting in $2,500 worth of damage to the vehicle.

The fire started around 6:30 a.m. in the parking lot outside KinderCare. The building was not affected.

Lt. Ed Bulger confirmed the details of a report in the Patriot Ledger, in which Fire Dispatcher Warren Frederick told the paper that two engines and a ladder truck responded because the van was parked right next to the building.
