Man's Car Bursts Into Flames After Being Struck on Highway

Two involved in a car crash over the weekend were not injured.

A Braintree man suffered no injuries after his car was rear-ended on a New Hampshire highway and burst into flames. 

On Saturday, June 28, shortly before noon, troopers responded to a crash on I-95 northbound near exit 5 in Portsmouth, NH. 

Police David Collamor, 26, from Braintree was driving a 2010 Nissan Sentra and stopped in heavy traffic and was struck from behind by Douglas Cormier, 38, of Portsmouth, NH, who was driving a Caravan. The Dodge Caravan burst into flames after being struck, said police.

No one was injured in the accident. Traffic was backed up for nearly an hour. 

Assisting the New Hampshire State Police at the scene was the Portsmouth Police Department, the Portsmouth Fire Department, and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
