The following information was supplied by the Braintree Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Braintree police are investigating a break-in that happened on Dobson Road last Saturday.

The homeowner told police that her home was broken into sometime between 4:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. on Feb. 16, Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement. At around 7:50 p.m., a neighbor saw a light on inside the home.

"Entry was gained by kicking in a rear kitchen door," Jenkins said. "Taken in the break was a laptop computer and three televison sets."
