Heroin, Cocaine, Crack Found During Traffic Stop

The following information was supplied by the Braintree Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Braintree police who pulled over a car on Granite Street last week discovered a variety of illegal drugs stuffed into a pill bottle.

Miguel A. Matos, 43 of Lynn, was arrested after officers Donald Delaney and Brandon Sullivan checked the plate of his Infiniti G37 as Matos was turning from Davis Road onto Granite Street last Thursday, Police Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement.

The vehicle registration query showed that the Infiniti had failed inspection. A subsequent stop turned up a pill bottle containing a quantity of heroin, cocaine and crack cocaine, along with a Clonazepam pill, Jenkins said.

Matos was charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine and Clonazepam.
