Entry Made Through Smashed Glass at Washington Street Home

A homeowner living in the 1200 block of Washington Street reported to police that his residence was broken into and money and a laptop were stolen.

The break-in happened sometime between early morning Friday, Dec. 15 and Monday morning, Dec. 17, Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement.

The homeowner found a glass windowpane in his front door smashed and the door wide open when he returned.
