Child Assault Allegedly Prompts Braintree Woman to Stab Assailant

One Braintree woman has been charged with intent to commit murder after allegedly stabbing another woman earlier this week who the first claimed assaulted a child.

Telisha N. Moore, 34 of Braintree, was also charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after the incident on Tuesday at Braintree Village, Chief Russell Jenkins said.

Moore allegedly stabbed a 33-year-old Braintree woman in the back after confronting her over accusations that she had assaulted a child on Tuesday morning. The child assault allegedly stemmed from a conflict between two children at Braintree Village last Friday.
