Cash Stolen From Braintree Hotel Vending Machine

The following information was supplied by the Braintree Police Department and Mass Most Wanted. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Police are looking for two male suspects who stole cash from a vending machine at the Holiday Inn Express in Braintree.

The men – who appear to be the same men who stole from an Auburn Laundromat earlier in the day – were driving a black colored hatch-back vehicle when they committed the crime on Jan. 9.

"It appears the suspects were able to access the locking mechanism on the candy machine by removing the coin/change flap and placing a tool up through this opening to the lock," according to a description of the crime posted by Braintree police on Mass Most Wanted.
