Braintree Village Stabbing Suspect Sought

A 21-year-old Braintree man was reportedly stabbed in the back at Braintree Village Friday afternoon.
Detectives questioned the victim and several companions at South Shore Hospital after learning of the incident, Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement.
"The victim and his companions gave conflicting accounts as to what the victim was doing preceding the assault and investigators do not believe the attack was random," Jenkins said.
