Braintree Police Schedule National Night Out Celebration

The Braintree Police Department's annual community event is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 20.

Braintree residents and their police department will bond over an evening of free family fun next month.

A National Night Out event will be held at Braintree Town Hall, from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20.

The free, family-friendly festivities include food, touch-a-truck, games, a DJ and more.

National Night Out is a non-profit program that aims to heighten crime prevention awareness, generate support for local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police/community partnerships, and send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Anyone interested in a child car seat installation should call Officer Joseph Tosone at 781-794-8749 or Officer Brian Kelley at 781-794-8748 to schedule an installation time during this event.
