Braintree Police Make Accident Reports Available Online

The Braintree Police Department has partnered with GetCrashReports.com.

The Braintree Police Department has partnered with a crash reports website to provide online access to all accident reports.

All accident reports will be available within one hour of completion and electronic submission to the Registry of Motor Vehicles on GetCrashReports.com, Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement.

Reports involving fatal accidents must be purchased through the department. Also, any requests from businesses for reports must go through the website unless they cannot be found there or it is a walk-in public records request, Jenkins said.

“We hope this service provides a quick and easy way for individuals involved in motor vehicle crashes to obtain a copy of police officer generated accident reports with a few clicks of a computer mouse from the comfort of their home or office,” Jenkins said.
