Braintree Police Nab Alleged Drug Dealer on Granite Street

The following is an excerpt from the Braintree Police Department's log: 


Monday, March 3

  • At 6:02 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Gray Terrace.
  • At 10:47 a.m., police responded to a disturbance on Granite Street. Shataye Latrice Waites, 24, of 3 Mallard Ave., Boston, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 10:51 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Cain Avenue.
  • At 1:22 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident on Granite Street.
  • At 1:49 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Franklin Street.
  • At 3:36 p.m., a River Street resident called police to report identity theft.
  • At 4:03 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident on Granite street.
  • At 4:15 p.m., police responded to a past larceny on Washington Street.
  • At 4:43 p.m., police responded to a report of a drug law violation on Union Street.
  • At 4:59 p.m., police responded to a report of a drug law violation on Granite Street. Winchel Aubourg, 40, of 16 Marion St., Cambridge, was arrested on a charge of illegally possessing a class B substance with intent to distribute.
  • At 5:37 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Washington Street.
  • At 7:04 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Liberty Street.
  • At 7:47 p.m., police responded to a report of trespassing on Granite Street. Maureen Durant, 22, of 88 Maynard St., Roslindale, was arrested on a charge of illegally possessing a class E substance.
  • At 8:21 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Washington Street.

Tuesday, March 4

  • At 1:37 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Washington Street. A citation was issued.
  • At 5:30 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Lakeside Drive.
