Braintree Police Arrest Pair on Shoplifting Charges

The following is an excerpt from the Braintree Police Department's log:
Monday, Feb. 24:
- At 6:55 a.m., police responded to a sudden death on Blossom Road.
- At 8:07 a.m., an officer disposed of a hypodermic needle discovered on Summer Street.
- At 8:23 a.m., police responded to a past larceny on Braintree Hill Park.
- At 10:11 a.m., police responded to an assault and battery on Commercial Street.
- At 12:01 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on Granite Street.
- At 12:27 p.m., police responded to an accident on Union Street.
- At 3:07 p.m., an officer disposed of a hypodermic needle discovered on Oak Street.
- At 3:09 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident on Granite Street. Michaela C. Fardy, 19, of 91 Puritan Road, Weymouth, was arrested on a charge of larceny over $250. Michaela E. Finnegan, 18, of 29 Belcher St., Holbrook, was arrested on two counts of shoplifting merchandise by concealment.
- At 3:16 p.m., police responded to an accident on Union Street.
- At 4:50 p.m., police responded to a larceny on Washington Street.
- At 6:49 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Hill Road.
- At 11:56 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Granite Street.
