Braintree PD Warns of 'Driveway Scam' in Town
Tell these driveway scammers to go away, immediately.
Braintree police reported that they are getting calls about two men in a silver pickup offering to do a "redo" of driveways with leftover asphalt.
This is a common scam, said police, and homeowners should decline immediately. If they do not leave, call police.
"His high pressure approach confuses and intimidates," reads one report of the scam.
Reports have come in from the West, Walnut and Storrs Street area.
