Braintree Man Crashes Into Two Parked Cars, Faces Charges

Man will face charges after going to the hospital.

A 31-year-old Braintree man will be facing several charges after allegedly crashing his vehicle into two parked cars on Allen Street shortly before 1 a.m. on Monday, May 26, said police.  

Officers responded to Allen Street and found an unoccupied vehicle with extensive damage and its airbags deployed. Witnesses pointed out the suspected operator, who was walking down the street.  

When police asked the man about the accident, their questioning resulted in the man being sent to the hospital for injuries.

Police will be charging the man with operating under the influence of alcohol, operating to endanger, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, speeding and having an open container of alcohol in his vehicle. The man’s name is not being released because he has not yet been charged.
