Quincy police said the man stole money and fled in a waiting car.
A 27-year-old Braintree man wearing a respirator mask and wielding the 3-foot pickax robbed a Quincy Domino's early Sunday morning, police said.
The Boston Herald reported Tuesday morning that John Waschela is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday for the crime, in which he stole $90, left the pickaxe behind and fled in a waiting car.
The vehicle he fled in had been reported stolen out of Hingham, according to a report on Boston.com.
Waschela allegedly robbed the Hancock Street location, at the Neponset Bridge, just after 1 a.m. Sunday.
