Braintree Firefighters Sell Stickers to Support Those Affected by Newtown Tragedy

The stickers are available at fire headquarters at 1 Union Pl.

The Braintree Fire Department has raised hundreds of dollars for victims of the Newtown shooting by selling stickers to local residents and people from across the country.

Firefighter Robbie Loud told Channel 7 that he came up with the fundraising idea – a green sticker with 26 stars representing the six teachers and 20 schoolchildren killed earlier this month – while watching the tragedy unfold and thinking about his own young children.

The stickers were made by Larry Chan of SignsAndPrints.com.
