The Lawrence Czech CPA office on Hancock Street in Braintree was broken into sometime last weekend and a computer and various Red Sox memorabilia were stolen.
Police saw that several other businesses in the building appeared to have had their window screen pushed in, but the CPA was the only business broken into, Deputy Chief Russell Jenkins said.
The crime happened sometime between Friday, Aug. 3 at 4 p.m. and Monday morning at 7:50 p.m. when it was reported to police. Taken in the break-in were an HP laptop computer, a commemorative Red Sox baseball from the 1999 All-Star game at Fenway Park and a commemorative Red Sox brick from Fenway Park were taken, Jenkins said. The brick was found outside.
An unlocked ground-level window was most likely the entrance point.
