Braintree Police Looking For Bank Robber With Baseball Cap

Police are investigating an unarmed robbery at Braintree Cooperative Bank Friday morning.

Braintree Police are still investigating an unarmed robbery at Braintree Cooperative Bank Friday morning.

Police say a thin built man, between the ages of 20-30 years old walked into the bank located in North Braintree Square, demanded large bills from the teller and then fled with a sum of money.

Surveilance video captured images of the man wearing a Cleveland Indians baseball cap, with a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. He is describes as having a small amount of facial hair and is believed to have light brown hair.

 The robbery took place at approximately 9 a.m. and the suspect was last seen turning right out of the bank and running toward the VFW building adjacent to the bank.  He was later spotted  by a witness running towards Elm Street.

The suspect did not present any weapon.

Police say he may have had an accomplice and possibly met up with a second individual outside the bank wearing a white T-shirt and shorts.
