Anna McLaughlin

Anna M. (Fahey) McLaughlin, 82 years of age, entered Life Eternal at the Oak Hill Nursing Facility in Middleborough on Wednesday, January 30, 2013. She was born in Stoneham and had resided in Braintree before moving to West Wareham. She was a graduate of Braintree High School. She was the wife of the late Charles McLaughlin and the devoted Mother of Donna M. Finnerty and her husband John Finnerty of Braintree, Douglas H. Full obituary at Peck Funeral Home.

Carol Muriel (Furlong) Whittaker of Braintree Highlands, 88 years of age, entered Eternal Life on Monday, January 28, 2013 at her home.  She was born in Milton on Christmas Day 1924. She formerly lived in Wollaston and was a graduate of Quincy High School Class of 1942.  Carol subsequently graduated from Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School in 1944. She was the wife of the late Laban H. Whittaker, Jr. to whom she had been married for 40 years prior to his death in 1988. Full Obituary at Peck Funeral Home.

Anthony Carmosino

Anthony Paul Carmosino, 73 years of age, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the Brockton Veterans’ Administration Hospital. He was born in East Boston and graduated from the Revere High School. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps from  l956 to 1958. He graduated from the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, England.  

He opened and operated Salon 500 in Quincy in 1967 and continued the operation of the salon with his wife until 2007. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Anthony has resided in Braintree for the past twelve years and was formerly of Cohasset. Full obituary at Peck Funeral Home.
