Santa Claus Sets up Shop at South Shore Plaza

It's November and that means Christmas is now around the corner.

The clock struck November and Santa Claus laced up his boots for the Christmas season.

One of his first stops? The South Shore Plaza in Braintree.

The Plaza is host to Santa Claus now through Christmas Eve.

"Visitors will have a chance to meet Santa and share their wishes and hopes from their own Christmas lists and letters to Santa with Santa himself," the Plaza said in a press release.

Guests can also snap a photo with the big guy for a fee. He will be available during regular mall hours and during extended holiday hours in the Nordstrom wing on level one. Visit www.Facebook.com/SouthShorePlaza or South Shore Plaza for times.

Pets can also get their picture taken with Santa starting this Sunday, Nov. 10.

"Family pets are invited to join in the holiday fun at South Shore Plaza and have their own turn on Santa’s lap on Sundays in November and December. This is the purr-fect chance to capture a moment of your pet celebrating Christmas cheer! This special pet-friendly opportunity is in addition to Santa’s regular hours," according to the Plaza.

All pets must be leased or crated.

Pet hours as follows:

Sundays, No. 10, 17 and 24: 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Sundays, Dec. 1 and 8: 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Sundays, Dec. 15 and 22: 8 p.m. – 9 p.m.
