One Braintree One Book Baseball Finale

August 16, 5:00 to 7:00 PM

The Thayer Public Library is celebrating the finale of our second annual One Braintree, One Book right across the street from the library at French’s Common.  There will be free food and fun for all ages. Come and cheer on the Princes and the Thieves as they compete in the kids’ softball game. For those ages 3 and older, if you’ve ever wondered if your pitch is ready for the majors, come try your hand at the speed-pitch machine.  There will also be a craft activity, face painting, and a raffle drawing.  If you haven’t entered the raffle, it’s not too late. Stop by the library and pick up an entry form, answer the baseball questions, and drop it off at any service desk. So mark your calendar for August 16th and don’t miss this special evening of fun, games, and best of all, hot dogs and chips for everyone! See you there.
