Fundraiser Halfway There for Local Man with Multiple Sclerosis

Loved ones are helping Dana, a man from Braintree with progressive multiple sclerosis, pay for a new bed.

His current bed is old and outdated, and it is where he spends most of his time,  according to his GoFundMe.com page. Patch has partnered with GoFundMe and is helping to highlight worthy campaigns in local communities.

In one month, 19 people have donated $1,585. The goal is $3,000.

Please help Dana get a new bed. Dana is 55yrs old and has Progressive MS. His disease has left him paralyzed and confined to his bed. His current bed is old and outdated, however he is unable to get a new bed because his bed sores aren't severe enough yet. Leaving it up to us to try and raise enough for a fully automatic bed with an air mattress. A bed may not seem like much to all of us, but to him it's everything.
