Free Fresh Cider, Document Shredding at Farmers Market

Below are highlights for the Braintree Farmers Market on Sept. 29 in front of Town Hall, provided by Sustainable Braintree. The market runs weekly from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through October.

Braintree Electric Light Dept. says "Thanks" to ALL their customers this Saturday, Sept. 29th from 9 to 1, rain or shine, in conjunction with the Sustainable Braintree Farmers Market.  Look for surprises-including complimentary fresh-pressed cider from C.N. Smith Farm and a free drawing for a basket of farmers' market items from all of our vendors.  Bring your paperwork that needs shedding as there will be a truck on site to do it for you-All donations will be given to Sustainable Braintree.   In the event of extreme inclement weather we will be operating inside the Braintree Town Hall-So there's no excuse not to join us.

New Visiting Vendor-Cream!
Bring your coolers this week because Cream will be selling ice cream at the market for the first time!  Look for Richardson's (Massachusetts made) fall flavors in dishes ($3), pints ($5) and half gallons ($12).  Pumpkin, Apple Crisp (apple base ice cream with butter crunch pieces and cinnamon swirl) and Cranberry Harvest (cranberry base ice cream with walnuts, chocolate chips and cranberries). Drop by and say "Welcome to the market!".

All Souls features 12 oz bags of West Bridgewater's Equal Exchange, fair trade Organic Colombian drip grind coffee from indigenous co-operatives in the Caldas region of Colombia.

Harvard Sweet Boutique will be selling piping hot cocoa with homemade marshmallows. Delicious with a freshly baked gourmet cookie or artisan brownie!

After three weeks absence, Mark of Fairland Farm Cape Cod Organic Cranberry , will be back.  To celebrate his return Fairland is offering a dollar off the purchase of a pound bag (PomCrans excluded).

The Cupcakerie will be featuring its Rabbits Delight-A savory carrot cake filled with golden raisins and walnuts, topped with cream cheese frosting.

EvaRuth's Specials for this Saturday are Whoopie Pies: Pumpkin,  Chocolate & Banana-They're absolutely amazing!  Stop by to pick up Blueberry & Pumpkin Muffins.
