Added Trains, Special Fares Available for Trip to Rolling Rally

Extra service will be added all across the MBTA system on Saturday to help fans get into Boston for the Red Sox rolling rally.

Addition commuter rail trains – some of the them leaving as early as 6 a.m. – will take Red Sox fans into Boston on Saturday for the “rolling rally” to celebrate the team’s World Series win.

Changes are planned all across the MBTA system on Saturday to accommodate Sox fans, including additional subway and bus service.

“Please expect variations in scheduled times due to increased ridership and allow extra time for your trip,” the T said in announcing the special schedule. “The MBTA strongly urges parade-goers to take advantage of the earliest trains to avoid very heavy volume on subsequent trains.”

The rolling rally is planned to kickoff at 10 a.m. from Fenway Park.
