Trading Our Health for Convenience

Nutritional Therapist Cathy Sloan-Gallagher Presented by Sustainable Braintree

 Do you spend more time selecting your outfit in the morning than your
breakfast?  Do you lay out $100 for a pair of sneakers but balk at the
price of fresh locally grown vegetables?  Or maybe you believe you lack
the knowledge or expertise to cook your own meals?  Whether the
underlying reason is time, cost, or inexperience, many of us resort to
processed foods, to some degree, as a matter of convenience.  And we pay
the price with our health in the long run.  Join Cathy Sloan Gallagher,
nutritional therapist and food enthusiast, at the Sustainable Braintree
annual community meeting to learn just how processed "convenience"
foods harm your health, how best to avoid them, and what it truly means
