Gardeners’ Guild of Braintree’s April 7,
2014
meeting will take place at the Masonic Hall, 403
Washington Street/Braintree at  7 p.m.



April’s presentation:  “PERKIN’S
PARK COMMUNITY GARDEN: RETROSPECTIVE, RECIPES AND
SELF-RELIANCE”.   Sustainable Braintree’s Community Garden
Task Force Co-Chairs, Christine Sullivan and Pat
Morey, will present an interactive discussion and slide show on the Perkins
Park Community Garden, which is going into its 5th year.  Discussions will be held on their experiences
over the past four years and present ideas to help assess and improve your
organic gardening skills from the ground up. 
They will also talk about upcoming community workshops, including worm
composting and making compost tea. 
Christine and Pat will share garden member’s “produce to table” dishes
for you to sample, and review the benefits and ease of eating out of your own
garden.  Please bring a guest to this
very interesting presentation for $1.00/charge.
