MOONSTRUCK THEATER COMPANY, in association with Amazing Things Art Center of Framingham, is pleased to present the classic American play OUR TOWN, opening Friday, March 14, and running for seven performances through Sunday, March 23.
This Pulitzer Prize-winning play is Thornton Wilder’s most frequently performed work. Set in the early 20th century in the fictional town of Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire, the play explores the beauty of love, marriage, family and the everyday precious moments that may be taken for granted. Our Town, known for its minimalistic use of set and props, has the Stage Manager narrate the love story of George Gibbs and Emily Webb. As the couple moves through life we are reminded of how important it is to stop and take time to appreciate the significance in the simplest of moments.
Our Town features Quincy resident Stephen Sacchetti as George Gibbs, the kind but irresponsbile boy-next door. Our Town marks Sacchetti’s return to the Moonstruck stage, having previously played Moritz in Spring Awakening. Recent theatrical endeavors include Stanley Kowalski (Streetcar Named Desire), Romeo (Romeo & Juliet), and Benny (The Line That Picked Up a Thousand Babes). Off-stage, Stephen is a bartender at Anthem in Boston.

The show is produced by Caroline Fonseca and directed by Matthew Sherman. The production will be presented at Amazing Things Art Center, Framingham, MA.
Tickets are $24 for general admission, $23 for senior citizens and students, $21 for Amazing Things Members, and $12 for children 12 and under.
