Fifth Annual Great Grown-up Spelling Bee

  The Braintree Rotary Club and the South Shore Plaza are sponsoring the Fifth Annual Great Grown-up Spelling Bee from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, 10/19 at the Plaza.
  Up to 24 four-member teams will compete for the trophy.  Participants must arrive at 10:30 a.m. to register.
  Braintree native Butch Stearns, formerly of WFXT-TV, Channel 25, will emcee the event, and local officials will serve as the judges.
  Proceeds from the event will benefit the Rotary's educational, literacy, and community service events.
