MEFA Financial Aid Information Night at Blue Hills Regional in Canton

There will be two financial aid for college nights at Blue Hills Regional Technical School, 800 Randolph St., Canton, in January 2013.  Both events are free and open to the public.


 


The first is TERI (The Education Resources Institute) FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) completion night on Wednesday, January 2 at 6:30 pm.  Representatives from TERI provide individual assistance with the FAFSA. People can bring their documents and complete the FAFSA that night! Call (781) 828-5800 x232 to reserve a seat.

The other is MEFA (Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority) Financial Aid Information Night on Wednesday, January 9 at 6:30 pm.  Representatives from MEFA will outline the financial aid process, deadlines, forms, grants and loans and answer questions.

Parents and students are encouraged to bring as much of the following information as possible in order to complete the FAFSA: A FAFSA Personal Identification Number, available at www.fafsa.gov; most recent tax returns (if people don’t yet have 2012, bring 2011); Social Security number; Driver's license; 2010 W-2 forms or year-end pay stubs; 2010 untaxed income records; Current bank statements; 2010 business and investment records; Alien registration card for non-U.S. citizens.
