UPDATE: National Weather Service Issues Winter Weather Advisory for the South Shore

Snow and rain will affect the morning commute, with 1 inch accumulation expected in Braintree.

The January Thaw is over. Expect 1 inch of snow this morning, especially during the morning commute.

Snow, rain and sleet are expected to fall before 2pm, the National Weather Service predicted.

South Shore residents can expect a high of 36, with a low of 29 degrees.

Tomorrow brings sunny skies and a high near 40.
