Braintree Could See a Few Inches of Snow Saturday Night

After last weekend's blizzard, the accumulation expected is likely to be barely noticed.

Close to a week removed from last weekend's massive blizzard, Braintree and the surrounding region is expected to see a little bit more of the white stuff.

But it should be a mild amount of snow falling Saturday, especially compared with the two feet or more that was dumped and has since been slowly melting.

The National Weather Service predicts snow showers Saturday morning for Braintree, mainly before 8 a.m., with very little accumulation. Then, after midnight, the temperatures should drop below 20 degrees and another 1 to 3 inches could fall.

Snow could continue into Sunday afternoon, but likely without much adding up. Winds, though, could gust into the high 30 miles per hour on Sunday, with the temperatures dropping to as low as 10 degrees.
