1. The Braintree Special Education Parent Advisory Council meets at 6 p.m. at Thayer Public Library in Conference Room B.

2. There is a half day today for Braintree Public Schools students because of a Professional Development Day.

3. Thayer Library is having a half-day movie for teens from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Logan Auditorium.

"School is out early, so stop by the library & watch a movie. Popcorn is included! We'll have two new releases to choose from, and there will be a trivia contest to decide which movie we'll watch. Please note that we will be showing a PG-13 movie, so this event is for ages 13-18 only. No registration required."
