5 Things: Braintree High Orientation

A run-down of events and other useful information for your life in Braintree on Feb. 15, 2013.

On Feb. 15, 1933, an Italian immigrant named Giuseppe Zangara shot and killed Chicago mayor Anton Cermak, who was standing at the time next to Franklin Delano Roosevelt during a speech in Miami. Some speculate that Roosevelt was actually the target, though Zangara's bullets hit five different people. The man plead guilty to murder and attempted murder and was swiftly executed the next month.
