1. The Department of Elder Affairs is holding a board meeting at 2 p.m. at the Senior Center this afternoon.

2. There is a forum for families with special needs children at Thayer Public Library in the Logan Auditorium from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

3. Yard waste reminder from the town: "Capitol Waste will pick up yardwaste curbside every Saturday through December 8.  Please have leaves in biodegradeable bags or containers at curbside by 7 am on Saturdays."
