3. Remember tomorrow (Saturday) is the Friends of Thayer Public Library Garage Sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

4. The Cradles to Crayons Holiday Book Drive started yesterday at Barnes & Noble and continues through Dec. 31. "Founded in 2002, Cradles to Crayons provides children in need from birth through age 12, with the essential items they need to thrive."
