Slight delay on Union Street under MBTA bridge. On Monday, a truck or bus struck and ripped the bird netting under the bridge. The town contacted the MBTA and on Tuesday Braintree DPW decided to take down all the netting for safety reasons, Mayor Joseph Sullivan said. The MBTA will replace the netting.
