U.S. Senator Ed Markey will be keynote speaker at South Shore Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting February 20

The South Shore Chamber of Commerce (www.southshorechamber.org), the region’s largest Chamber, will  welcome U.S. Senator Edward Markey (D-MA) as keynote speaker at its Annual Meeting February 20, to be held at Lombardo’s in Randolph.

In addition to Senator Markey’s first visit to the Chamber, the organization will celebrate its 2013 successes and leadership by honoring 2013 Board Chairman Bob Rivers and welcome in the 2014 Chairman, Ray Belanger. Additionally, the Chamber will recognize lead ambassadors, Partners, Board Members, and other key volunteers, acknowledge the advancement of the Chamber’s mission, and celebrate new and long-time members.

The cost to attend the Annual Meeting and lunch is $45 for members, with general admission being $65. The event will be held at Lombardo’s, 6 Billings Street, Randolph, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Peter Forman, CEO of the South Shore Chamber, said, “Whether you are new to the Chamber, are a long-time member, or simply someone interested in learning out more about the Chamber, please join us.”

Because this will be school vacation week, the Chamber invites their members' and attendees' junior and senior high school students who are interested in politics.

Both company tables and individual tickets are available for purchase.  New and prospective members will be seated at a table with a welcoming Chamber Ambassador or Outreach Committee Member.
